    The Director of Admissions: Operations and Processing leads a dynamic team overseeing critical aspects of the admissions process and operations and ensures the seamless flow and accuracy of undergraduate and graduate applications. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to managing the operations staff, residency determination and reclassification for tuition purposes, error reporting, data management, and direct supervision of various admissions processes and personnel.

    Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar for Registration and Records, the Advisor Generalist is tasked with greeting and advising students with technical information related to registration and record procedures in person, by telephone, email, text message and at the front desk; Assisting students, faculty, and staff in troubleshooting errors and resolving problems associated with registration, records, grading, petitions, and other related services and functions; Reviewing and screening student petitions; Updating and submitting enrollment reports to the National Student Clearinghouse; Assisting with final grade distribution for high school distance education classes; and Researching and coordinating with other departments in regard to any processes related to registration and records.

    Supervises workflow and processes by coordinating and overseeing work assignments for graduate admissions operations. Ensures relevant policies, procedures, and laws are followed. Participates in the interview process as well as assesses, develops, and provides training for new and existing employees. Assists other areas as requested and learns relevant processes and skills. Handles escalated inquiries from students, departments and staff. Evaluates escalated graduate admissions applications. May assist in program management, department relations, etc. Staff are required to be in the office; this is not a remote position. After 90 days and with management approval, employees may have the opportunity to work up to three days a week remotely, although this is subject to change.

    Under the direction of the Associate Registrar for Transfer Evaluation, the Specialist 1, assists and provides students with all relevant information about enrollment services as it relates to transferring credit to Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). Provides exceptional customer service, clerical, and technical support regarding transfer of credit process.

    Requires an in-depth knowledge of how to research data in various Student Information Systems (i.e., Banner, Etrieve, DegreeWorks etc.) as well as interpret Articulation and Curriculum Policy, Procedure, Program and Course requirements. Collaborates and confers with various departments including Graduation, Records and Data Management, Reverse Transfer, Academic and Career Advising, Admissions and International Student Affairs.

    This position is a great foundation for anyone considering a career in Student Affairs.

    The Associate Registrar of Academic Progress will lead an Office of the Registrar unit responsible for degree audit; transfer evaluation/articulation processes; Veterans Affairs (VA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) certification; and compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Successful candidates must be centered on student success; focused on achieving institutional goals; demonstrate an ability to create/refine systems, processes, and policies; have strong change management skills; lead and develop a team of professionals who carry out the aforementioned functions; create and maintain campus-wide partnerships with key stakeholders; possess thorough knowledge of, or ability to learn and comply with state, federal, and organizational policies.

    Under minimal supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions, Advisors 3, Admissions Recruitment, will lead, train, monitor and evaluate the adult recruitment staff. They will analyze recruitment efforts in the Office of Admissions by planning and implementing activities for attracting new adult learners to Salt Lake Community College and managing their own recruitment territory. The Advisor 3 will manage day-to-day operations and provide employees with expectations and feedback. Additionally, they will manage and track admissions advising caseloads for their team and develop strategies to recruit and enroll adult learners. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing the strategies for all recruitment efforts for adult learners. They will also develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners/businesses and create strategic recruitment efforts for adult learners.
